		<description>I thought it was a good evening.  I&#039;m not sure any political opinions were changed, but hopefully the people there have a better understanding of our MP.

I remember a meeting arranged by the churches in Dorking just before the October 1974 election - there had been an election earlier the same year.  Three of us, students, went from Elim Bible College.  We went in as supporters of Labour, Conservative and Liberals and came out even more entrenched in our views.  Each thought his candidate was the most Christian!</description>
