You may be correct, though it did come with a Windows installation disk as it is a multi-function machine. So perhaps not all features would be usable plug and play. Most HP printers are plug and play in Linux but I chose the Brother.

I do use Windows sometimes on one of my machines but as you I prefer Ubuntu. My Ubuntu machine at home boots in 30 seconds and wakes from sleep in 10 seconds. Windows would still be in a coma in that time.

This is where Ubuntu lets itself down. I bet both devices are plug and play in Windows. The average user doesn't want to have to do all this. It's a shame, because Ubuntu is jolly good - for browsing the Internet my Netbook is light-years faster in Ubuntu than in Windows.

Oh what shall we do?
We could put it in a stew.
Oh my oh my,
I'd prefer a nipple pie.
Oh, dear man, what a pickle!
That's the way to preserve your nipple!

It rhymed!

Er no. Too risky I think. And I may not have to if I wear the right fabric.

Might have to resort to duck tape though and its removal is not worth thinking about. Ouch!

Are you thinking about using your cut throat razor to do that? One slip and you won't have to worry about chafing anymore because your nipple will be on the floor.

It's not just the parties in government who are in favour of this change - just this morning I saw a blog from Labour's Shadow Minister for Women and Equalities encouraging David Cameron not to backtrack on his plans following their poor showing in the elections, so if this issue were a make-or-break issue for a voter they wouldn't really have an awful lot of candidates to choose from.

I agree that it seems to make little political sense to push this through given the demographic of Tory voters, although I sort of admire Cameron et al for not wavering. I don't think I'd ever vote for one of his party's candidates but if this is as unpopular a policy as is being suggested, at least it shows that he doesn't base his policies solely on what he thinks - a kind of integrity which is often lacking in our leaders!

Yes, or even flying trike. It reminds me of the one on an old James Bond film. One of those original ones sometimes flies locally. I think it is based at Linton-on-Ouse.

I think my wife would not let me fly one even if I had the money.

What fun though.

Isn't it more of a flying motorbike than a flying car? Still, pretty cool. We're all going to have these by 2015 (watch Back to the Future if you don't believe me!).
