I am in China
Yes I am in China. Would never have thought, when I was younger that I would get the opportunity.
Visited Beijing, Guilin, and Jinan.
What a great country and obviously changing all the time and fast. Heard one person saying that they think foreigners think of China as it was in the 1980’s. Of course for us not that much has changed in our country since then other than fashions. In China whole cities have sprung up since then. One person said it is the most rapid period of development a people has gone through in human history. I can believe it.
I have been impressed at how friendly the people are.
Things I never thought I would eat but have here: Jelly fish and scorpion. Surprisingly the scorpion was rather nice so long as I tried to not hear the voice of instinct in my mind screaming, “NO!”
