A pre-Christmas trip to the shops and a break for tea in the café of Waitrose here in York.
We went with one of our daughters and her husband. They are keen photographers and do various commissions including weddings. She rarely travels without her camera so I was not too surprised when she was so pleased with her order she decided to photograph it.
At first I wondered what the picture would be used for, would it ever be looked at again?
What then struck me was that this was evidence that she finds joy in moments that appear ordinary to other people.
She has a quality to be envied. A quality like that can not be bought.
