The BNP have been told that their policy of only allowing white people to be members can not continue as it is discriminatory. This was after they were sued by the Equality and Human Rights Commission in August.
Shami Chakrabarti of Liberty said the ruling would not change ‘a body with so much racism and hatred pumping through its veins’.
Will any people of colour want to join now? I am white and i wouldn’t touch them with a barge-pole. Wouldn’t it be funny though if loads of black people joined and kept swinging the policies by their votes?
Not likely to happen but a nice thought.
