So That is What You Call Falling

There was a form on my wife’s desk at work this morning from the North Yorkshire and York NHS Falls Prevention Service. They call themselves a “multi-professional guidance for use by the primary health care team, hospital staff, care home staff and social care workers.”

It included this information:

By falling we mean ‘ a sudden unintentional change in position causing one to land on a lower level’.

This is such good advice, don’t know how I managed so long without it!
